Aviva Investors N. America Assigns Ron Shortenhaus To Insurance Sector Business Development

DES MOINES, IA - Ron Shortenhaus, who joined Aviva Investors North America, Inc. in 2008 as a client relationship manager, has been appointed investment sales manager responsible for institutional business development in the insurance industry.
Des Moines, IA-based Shortenhaus will report to Eric Hasenauer, managing director and head of institutional sales, who is based in New York. Previously with WB Capital Management, his 20-year experience also includes Principal Financial Services, Inc. and Norwest Financial (now part of Wells Fargo & Co.). In addition, Aviva Investors North America named Paul LaCoursiere as client portfolio manager. He will report to Ross Junge, SVP and head of portfolio management in Des Moines where both are based, and also to Paul Moody, client investment director for Aviva Investors in London.
LaCoursiere's duties will include developing and supporting institutional investment strategies in core fixed income, investment grade, private fixed income and Canadian fixed income. He previously worked for Barclay's Global Investors in San Francisco, CA, and Hong Kong, and with Munder Capital Management. (IAM News)
