NEW YORK, NY - Broker dealer BTIG LLC has expanded its fixed income group with the hiring of Alexander Piper for the high yield team and James Zurovchak for the RMBS sales team, both with the titles of director.

Piper was previously with Imperial Capital, where he spent five years in high yield, bank debt and equity sales, and Jefferies, where he handled bonds direct. Zurovchak was at Source Capital Group, Inc., a NY-based RMBS boutique broker dealer, where he focused on RMBS sales, and before that at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago, Nomura and Kidder Peabody.

BTIG, founded in 2002, started its fixed income group in early 2009. (IAM News)
